Me and my grandmother had booked a room in the lodge in room 17. We asked to go look at the room but didnt like it as it was in the back of the building. There were stains on the floor and the fridge also had a few stains. There was a weird yellow/ white stuff on the floor and the windows looked like they hadnt been cleaned in months. The owner offered us to look at room 3 which was a smoking room. As soon as we walked in the smell hit us. It smelt horrible and there were more stains on the floor! The windows also had looked like they hadnt been cleaned in months. And we cancelled, we hadnt checked in or out! And we were charged for the night. On the official website it said FREE cancellation! It never said you had to pay after a certain amount of time before cancellation.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, has a nice homelike feel. And recently under new management. Had a great stay.
DISGUSTING!we booked 4 rooms here, in all 4 rooms the fridges have lots of black mold build up like they haven been cleaned in months, stains on one of the beds and sticky gunk on one of the tables. this is the second stay at this motel in the last 5 years. First experience was terrible too. Includes continental breakfast, they had toast.Nothing else. No cereal, no fruit and no drinks. Gave them benefit of the doubt thinking maybe we caught them at the wrong time. CLEARLY no health standards here. would strongly recommend staying at a different motel!
