I love the golf course. Its usually in great shape. The clubhouse is a comfy place to hang out and the food is good.
We camped at Wakaw lake regional campground for 4 days. The site has only power. Water available on site. Site is just a cow pasture with a table and a movable fire pit. The ground is very uneven and filled with gopher holes. Very hard to walk on to a point of being dangerous. There are lots of treed sites but they seem to be permanent. Cost for camping is way to high for what you are getting. There is a free sanidump on site. The golf course is very nice and in great shape only 9 holes. It is long and challenging, but fair to all levels of golfers. The only issue with the golf course is there are NO DISCOUNTS at all. They are listed in the Golf Canada Card, but will not honour it, there is no twilight deal and no senior discount. The lake is very shallow with lots of rocks, if you are a boater, be very careful is you don't know the lake. The beach is nice for kids. There are also shower rooms that are clean, cost a dollar and close at 10:00pm. Would not go back and would really not recommend it to others. If you are a golfer, the course is worth playing, but is cost prohibitive at $75.00 for 9 holes.
We enjoy camping at wakaw regional park. Close to our kids & very family friendly park. Very quiet.
Awesome place. Gorgeous golf course. Nice restaurant. Beautiful new marina and docks. Good lake for fishing. Wonderful beach and kayak rentals. Clean amenities. Close to saskatoon and prince Albert.
had a miscommunication issue and the park staff treated us extremely poorly. over all aweful experience. never going back.
